Our Pastor

Over the last 85 years, our church has had 10 pastors throughout its history. Currently, Pastor Wayne C. Cooper is the Senior Pastor-Teacher of Lincoln Avenue Christian Church, and has served in that capacity for more than 20 years. Pastor Cooper has been in the ministry for more than 30 years, of which more than 25 years were spent serving as a pastor. His spiritual gifts include the gift of preaching, teaching, and church leadership. Throughout the years in the ministry, he dedicated himself to the teaching of the Word of God through exposition, with emphasis on life application. He has preached in many venues across the states and overseas. With Jesus as an example, Pastor Cooper knows no strangers and shares his compassion and love for everyone by sharing his faith to them all.

The Pastor's Background

Pastor Cooper is from the city of Tarpon Springs near Tampa Bay, Florida. He has been married to his very loving, charming, and caring wife, Connie, for 35 years. They have three daughters and five grandchildren together.
